PTFE coatings provide excellent non-stick, low-friction, and chemically inert surfaces, making them ideal for demanding industrial environments. PTFE has the highest continuous operating temperature among fluoropolymers and offers outstanding thermal stability, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance.

Our TEFCOT™ PTFE coating systems are available as single-coat, two-coat (primer + topcoat), and premium three-coat systems, depending on performance requirements. The coatings are supplied in aqueous-based formulations and are applied under controlled processes to ensure uniform thickness, durability, and long service life.

Non-Stick & Release Properties

Very few solid substances permanently adhere to TEFCOT™ PTFE coatings, enabling easy release of sticky or tacky materials and reducing build-up.

Non-Wetting & Easy Cleaning

PTFE surfaces are hydrophobic and oleophobic, making them resistant to wetting and easy to clean, often exhibiting self-cleaning behaviour.

Heat & Thermal Resistance

No decomposition occurs below 250 °C, with negligible decomposition up to 300 °C under normal operating conditions.

Low Coefficient of Friction

Reduces wear, noise, and energy consumption in sliding and rotating components.

Cryogenic Stability

Maintains mechanical and surface properties under extreme low-temperature conditions.

Electrical & Dielectric Properties

High dielectric strength, low dissipation factor, and excellent surface resistivity over a wide frequency range.

Chemical Resistance

Normally unaffected by aggressive chemical environments, except alkali metals and highly reactive fluorinating agents.
