Product Overview

POLYPOR™ Porous Plastic Filter Discs are manufactured using sintered porous plastic technology, resulting in a rigid, self-supporting disc with uniform, interconnected pores throughout the entire thickness.

These filter discs provide true depth filtration, controlled permeability, and long service life, making them ideal for air, gas, and liquid filtration, as well as venting, diffusion, wicking, and pressure equalisation applications.

Material Options

POLYPOR™ porous filter discs are available in a wide range of thermoplastic polymers to suit different operating environments:

Polypropylene (PP / FGX)
Polyethylene (PE / DMF, including HDPE)
Polytetrafluoroethylene (P.T.F.E / TFE)

Material selection depends on chemical compatibility, temperature, mechanical strength, and end-use requirements.

Size Range & Availability

Disc Diameter: Custom manufactured from small precision sizes to large diameters as per application
Thickness: As required for flow rate and mechanical strength
Pore Size Range: 5 to 250 microns
Surface Types Available:
