POROUS PLASTIC FILTER RODS – POLYPOR™

POLYPOR™ Porous Plastic Rods are manufactured using sintered porous plastic technology, producing a rigid, self-supporting rod with uniform, interconnected porosity throughout its cross-section.
These rods are designed for applications requiring controlled flow, filtration, diffusion, aeration, venting, wicking, and fluidisation.

POLYPOR™ rods offer true depth functionality, where the entire volume of the rod is active, resulting in high dirt-holding capacity, stable flow, and long service life.

Material Options

POLYPOR™ porous plastic rods are available in a wide range of thermoplastic polymers to suit different chemical, thermal, and mechanical requirements:

  • Polypropylene (PP / FGX)
  • Polyethylene (PE / DMF, including HDPE)
  • Polytetrafluoroethylene (P.T.F.E / TFE)

Material selection is based on chemical compatibility, temperature exposure, and end-use function.
